Moline Township Activity Center: Summer concerts in the park are back! | Special Sections

Moline Township’s three-day give or take rummage sale takes place in June. Please read below for more details.

We hope to help community members who need household items and more.

We hosted a Mother’s Day Luncheon on Friday May 13th. I was born on Friday the 13th, so unlike some people who find the 13th superstitious, I consider it a lucky day. We had a wonderful lunch. Our guests enjoyed a performance by 15 Capella singers from Davenport Chordbusters. Each guest received a rose and a chance to win door prizes.

Summer concerts begin on June 6, looking forward to meeting our viewers and enjoying this all-time favorite community event.

THURSDAY JUNE 16 at 10 a.m.

Group led by Kristine Dohrmann, MDIV, MA with ProMedica. Each person’s grief is unique, but you don’t have to grieve alone. Join us on the third Thursday of every month for a safe place to share your experiences and find comfort in sharing with others. We’ve all heard people ask, “Are you done yet?” To think that we as humans “overcome” grief is ridiculous! We never “get over” our grief, but reconcile with it, learning to move on while remembering our loved one.

GROUNDING CLASS – Not planned yet

Grounding techniques are relaxing and enjoyable activities that decrease stress and anxiety. You will be led by spiritualist Billie Davids. If interested, please call 309-797-0789.

Call the municipality at 309-764-3558.
